Cupcakes - a sweet treat for 50L

This chloe charcoal dress by Cupcakes comes with a regular prim skirt and a scripted resize skirt.  For a maternity dress I find it's best to wear just the glitch pants and the regular prim skirt (no under skirt) and adjust the prim skirt up just a bit and just a tad forward. I'm very tall and the skirt is still a nice length at just above the knee.  The skirt flows nicely as you walk.  I can't believe this dress is only 50L.  Click on the pic for a closer look at the delicate lace that creates elegance.

Go Batty

I found this amazing top on Xstreet for 10L. It's sold as a dress but you can see how well it works as a top paired with black  pants.  The lace cuffs are such a nice touch and add an air of elegance not found on most Halloween blouses I've found...especially at this price. If you have problems with the link just type "Nada's little Halloween Dress" in search and you will find it.  This jewelry set by Candace Hudson matches perfectly.

Crimson Glory

Casual glamour describes this crimson outfit by Tres Beau.  I'm 7 monthis pregnant with twins and this outfit covers the tummy well and looks wonderful and no prims to adjust.  This outfit also comes in a stunning blue color.  Like me, you may want to own both.

Having a hard time finding a Halloween inspired design that fits?  This one will and without any prim adjustments.  Best of all, it is in the lucky board right now at Pinky*Girls.  If you don't want to wait you can buy it for only 95L.   What a BOO-tiful bargain!   Check it out at

The upper prim may be removed.  I also wear this dress without the sleeves.  It works well for moms-to-be with or withut the top prim.

Pinky*Gals has the sweetest dresses and coordinating hats in colors to please just about anyone. Shown here is the special release of  Autumn in platina and this particular dress comes with the hat.
You will find the other versions on the back wall.  Hats may be purchased separately but are for sale above the dresses. See the full length photo above.

This is the first attire I've shown that was actually created to be maternity wear and this one I like. I found this Ikat black & white Cotton Dress at Wetherby's.  The SLURL should take you directly to the room devoted to maternity wear. This dress looks great as shown here on the streets of London and is sure to look great anywhere in SL.

Sn@tch It Up

My friend in New Jersey told me that it snowed yesterday for the first time this season.  So in honor of the first snow, and for my friend Akasha, here a jacket/coat/dress, shown here in grey, that is perfect to take you through the coming winter months.  This can be worn as a jacket with or without the skirt and the skirt can be adjusted further down the body to make this a dress that looks great with a pair of black tights and boots. It's available in other muted winter colors as well.  You owe it to yourself to check this one out at Sn@tch.

Business Casual

Some of you have been asking for shirts and pants so here as shirt and vest that works very well.  It's from Tasty.  It comes with the tie and a striped shirt option. Just pair it with any black pair of pants and you're ready for the office or a walk in the Autumn sun.  My hubby loves this look!  You might find that you do too.  You'll find it on the front wall to the right as you walk in the store.

Okay, so I splurged on this dress called Josephine by a La Folie, but  I'm crazy for feminine floaty dresses that still look sexy and cover what needs to be covered at the same time.  And of course the dress is just as pretty without the flower attachment if you so choose.  This is a favorite that I will wear often even after the babies arrive. It actually looks much prettier worn than in the store pictures.

Today's look is s feminine flirty light blue dress called mia from cover girl.   You will love the movement of the skirt.  The lace hem moves like an underskirt but the skirt is actually one attachment.  Don't forget to click on the pic for a closer look at the lace detail.

The Unexpected for the Expecting

Want to know my secret for cute maternity clothes that no one else is wearing?
Look in unexpected Aura's children's clothing store.  Yes...this is a child's dress.  The skirt is scripted so you can modify it to fit as you need and it comes with the black tights and  black flats. I chose to wear it without the wrist and sock ruffles, lol, and turtleneck but accessorized with a beautiful jewelry set by CCD called Alexandra.  The jewelry set is scripted color change and one I wear often.
